BROstock is back in 2007 and bigger than ever.  We just completed our first event at Lake Powell, and now we’re ready to spread the BROstock love to the rest of the country.  BROstock is all about spreading the lifestyle that is wakeboarding… Houseboats, wake boats, dance parties, double up demos, girls, guys, and good times!  After the success of our first event last year, we’ve decided to host four BROstocks around the country.

New for this year is the BRO-AM contest and BRO-Athalon that will be held at each BROstock… to find out more about this portion of our the event and to see how you can enter, check with the Liquid Force crew on the first day of each event.

BROstock #1 - Lake Powell
June 8th - 10th 2007

BROstock 2007 went off!  We had twice as many boats as last year and had twice as much fun…  Warm Creek Bay was rocking all weekend long.  Fans got a chance to hang with our entire team, watch some double ups, check out the 2008 gear, and do a good bit of partying.  The weather was great and the event was a blast.  If you were there, you know what we’re talking about.  If you missed out, here are a few images to give you an idea of what to expect at the next events.  Thanks again to Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas, Monster Energy, Malibu Boats, DVS Shoes, Spy Optics, and Alliance Wake for helping make the event a huge success!  Congrats to Corey Marotta of Alliance for winning the first BROathalon and congrats to Parker Russell for winning the first BRO-AM event.

BROstock #2 - Lake Oroville, CA - Bidwell Marina
July 13th - 15th 2007

The 2nd BROstock took place July 13th-15th at Lake Oroville in Northern California.  Once again, it was a great time wakeboarding, hanging with the LF team, and doing a little partying in between.  The best thing about this BROstock was history was made.  Unless you have been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you should have heard by now that Shane Bonifay landed the first ever TS BS 720.  This trick is said to be just as hard, if not harder then the famous 1080.  Leave it to Shane to once again push the sport in the right direction.  The sun was shining the entire weekend, which made it very easy for Spencer Smith and Garrett Cortese to capture all the action on and off the water.  If you were not lucky enough to make it to Lake Oroville, here are a few images from the weekend and the riding that went down for a few days after the party.  A huge thanks to all of our sponsors, Monster Energy, Malibu Boats, Spy Optic, DVS Shoes and especially Bidwell Marina for the boats and the good times at the floating restaurant.

BROstock stop #3 - Smith Mt. Lakes, Virginia
August 10th - 12th 2007

The 3rd Bro Stock just went down at Smith Mountain Lake in Moneta, VA and if you  were not there, you missed out.  The weather was HOT and BRO Stock was even HOTTER…  The event took place at a spot on the lake known by the locals as The Cliffs.  Aaron Reed, Danny Hampson, Shawn Watson, Ben Greenwood, Collin Harrington, Silas Thurman and Maven crew was on hand for what was the best Bro Stock to date.  Friday started out with a double up session by the LF pro team and some local talent as well.  Brian Reeder and Matt Hirschbiel held it down for their home town.  The people at SML definitely know how to party lake style.  There was a float party that consisted of few hundred people and boats drifting around the LF house boats all day Friday and Saturday.  If you are ever in the SML area, be sure to go by Wake N Skate, Gary and his crew will take care of you like you’re a part of the family.  Be sure to check out the photos to see what you missed out on.  Again, a huge thanks to our sponsors, Monster Energy, Malibu Boats, Spy Optic and DVS Shoes.

BROstock Stop #4 - Lake Shuswap, Canada
August 31st - Sept 1st 2007

Lake Shuswap, located in Sicamus, B.C. is one of the most scenic and beautiful lakes in the Northern hemisphere and was the fourth and final stop of the Bro Stock tour.  This event featured many of the LF team riders, Shawn Watson, Shane Bonifay, Keith Lyman, Aaron Reed, Melissa Marquardt, Silas Thurman, Gregg Necrason, Collin Harrington, and of course some Canadian flavor with Kevin Henshaw and James Balzer.  The first two days were absolutely beautiful. Although a little cooler then the team is used to, they still got out on the water and showed the Canadian fans what wakeboarding is and how a wakeboard should be ridden.  The weather kind of turned for the worse the last few days of the trip, but it did not stop the LF team from having a good time and do some cold, rainy weather riding.  If you are ever in the B.C. area and are looking for a lake to hang out on, I highly recommend Lake Shuswap.  Be sure to get in contact with the Twin Anchors marina, they are very helpful and have the most plush rental house boats… What’s better then relaxing in a hot tub on the roof of your house boat after a long day of riding?
