One of the best moments I've ever had on my board was being able to help my mom get up on the wake-surf for the frist time. She had tried on multiple occasions, and finally one day all the pieces fell into place and she was able to get up while riding doubles with me. That was one of the coolest on water experiences.
What lessons has wakeboarding taught you?The biggest lesson I've learned through wakeboarding is that no matter how much I love the game, it will never love me back. It can be ruthless, heatbreaking, and down right mean. But I love it all the same and appreciate all aspects of the journey.
What does it mean to ride for LF?It means to be apart of something bigger than myself. To be apart of the rich history wakeboarding has, and to play a small role in representing this era with the best brand on and under my feet.
Who or what inspires you?I'm inspired by all the mothers in the world, but especially my wife. I read today that feeding your baby takes 1,825 hours in a year. A Full time "job" is roughly 1,960 hours in a year and includes 3 weeks of vacation. To all the moms out there, you guys are rockstars.
What do you think you are doing too much of or too little of because of wakeboarding?I think I drink way to much caffeine these days lol. Between WakeU, baby, and riding, I need all the help I can get. And I'm proobaly getting too little sleep for the same reasons.
