All the eyes on LF athletes! And when I mean all eyes, I mean even past the wake. We got a good mix and a bit of everything here for this week’s team happenings. Things have yet to slow down for our athletes, so dive on in to see how hard they are all still hitting it.
I am sure you all know by now, but our guy Guenther Oka is on the current season of the tv show titled “The Floor” hosted by Rob Lowe. This is a major primetime game show that appears on Fox along with Hulu/Disney for streaming apps. This season featured champions in all different skills, realms and sports as competitors. During episode 2 Guenther gets to showdown with several different other champions. Rather than spoil it, I recommend you give it a view on your tv or cheat and check out G’s recap/review. Congrats Guenther! I’ll also say congrats to Meags too as she is getting her dirty 30 bday snowboard trip to JaPow as part of this accomplishment.
On the other side of the world, Cairns Wake Park hosted their first major event in quite some time. This is such a rad park that is owned by riders Lauren and Adam Homer that used to ride for team LF and still rep LF under their feet. I personally have always loved this park as it has great DIY features, its in paradise and vibes are at an all time high. LFG showed up and did LFG things as expected. Our girls Rivers Hedrick and Claudia Pagnini ran the podium in both the regular event and best trick. Claudia won the main event and Rivers was right next to her in 2nd! And for best kicker trick, it was flip-flopped with Rivers taking the gold and Claudia in 2nd. Congrats ladies! LFG Relentless Domination!
Daniel Grant is a Maniac. We have all known this for awhile now. His wizardry on the water has always been wild with frenzied enthusiasm, both wakeboarding and wakeskating. So him and Matty Muncey teamed up to shoot a full part that features park wakeboarding, wakeskating and winching, all things that show how Maniacal Daniel is. The editing, the night shots, the winch spots, the tricks, the cameo from Matty riding, all of this is insane! Edit of the year! Bravo boys!
Also, shoutout to Daniel also for #DDD. It used to mean Daniel doesn’t do doubles as he used to hashtag that as his thing, looks like now we dropped one of the D’s…….
