STIFFNESS

Stiffness is the cornerstone to a good performing foil. Without a stiff mast all the energy created above the board is lost in translation on its way to the foil. Both the alloy and carbon liquid force masts have been designed with this primary objective in mind. Using FEA analysis, we have created extremely stiff and durable masts by maximizing the properties of an extruded aluminum mast as well as a molded composite mast.

CONDITIONS

Different lengths for different conditions. 24” Masts for shallow water depths. 28” tuned specifically to the depth of a boat wake to make sure your foil doesn't drop below the power zone on a wake. 32” masts to take your foiling to the next level whether that be in the ocean or powered by the wind.

CONSTRUCTION

Carbon Composite - Lightweight High Density foam at the core wrapped in directional carbon to provide a stiff/lightweight performance mast.

6061 Aluminum - Extruded aluminum to provide a durable and stiff mast with minimal impact on weight

SPEED

Both the alloy and carbon masts offer different cross sections. The carbon mast has been fine tuned through computational fluid dynamics modeling to ensure the lowest drag and highest speed possible. The alloy cross section has been fine tuned to maximize the strength of 6061 aluminum and offer a beginner friendly option for those interested in getting into foiling.
