LFG IS RELENTLESSLY DOMINATING!
WakePoint Open went down this past weekend out in the hill country in Texas and the event delivered on all fronts! I personally got to be on site for the event and it was all time! No doubt this event had it all! There was a huge in person crowd with about 100 boats beached/floatilla, a ton of people on the beach watching and then loads watching the live feed from the WakePoint store close by. I definitely want to praise this event because it was the best of both worlds where the conditions were great and the crowd was heavily present and active. From the time the first rider hit the water all the way til the awards and the after party, it was all on point! Shoutout to Brady from WakePoint for putting the event on. Already ready for next years!
The ladies just continuously always deliver the best show of riding weekend after weekend and they put on a movie on Saturday! Our women Zahra and Meagan both rode insane and made it super tight for the judges to determine who placed where. And at the end it was Zahra Kell delivering the remedy for 1st place and Meagan in 2nd! Both ladies did their thing, but most importantly to me they put on such an epic show of boat wakeboarding! These 2 separated themselves from the rest of the field as they relentlessly dominated. Congrats again ladies, we are all so stoked for you both and of course proud!
RGR, Rail Garden Rampage was also this past weekend up at Action Wake Park in Grand Rapids Michigan. This event is another great one off event that is put on with the athlete 100% in mind. A killer full double elimination head to head bracket style format mixed in with some hacks at one of the most fun parks in America has all the right elements for a fun time! Hunter has been putting this event on for 6 years and it continues to get better every single year. And to no surprise our guy Gavin Stuckey showed up and out for this event earning the top podium spot, right where he belongs! Gavin got some major redemption at this event with the 1st place this year for his 2nd year in a row at RGR. Also major shoutout to event organizer himself Hunter Thane for the bronze medal spot in the event too. Congrats to you both and well deserved and earned!
