What up Bros!
What a banger of a weekend! Brostock went off the charts and delivered on every single front you could imagine. The vibes were high, the tricks were massive, the party was pumping and the team went off all weekend long!
First and foremost, props to our guy Luca Kidd! The man is having the year of his life right now and part of that is his first ever pro victory by winning Brostock! And the man earned it with a wrapped heelside backside nose grab 1080 to the moon! It was crazy tight between him and Thomas Herman, but it was definitely the winning trick! Luca was on one the entire day as he upped his riding every round by starting with a double grabbed hs bs 7, then semis it was a wrapped hs nose bs 9 and then finished off with the mic drop in the final. The emotion from Luca and energy was all time and I have to say that it was the best award ceremony I have ever seen! Congrats again Luca, you deserve it!
But Brostock wasn’t the only thing happening this past weekend, Munich Mash went down with their always changing epic setup on the system 2. Of course our team did their thing and was all over the podium. Claudia Pagnini locked up gold with I believe her first Munich Mash W! Claudia was on fire on Saturday with her runs and made it no doubt she had won.
On the men’s side of things, Gavin Stuckey laced his 3rd (last) run of the final to get himself on the podium and got it done with a silver. And our boy Joe Battleday stood right next to him in 3rd by making a perfect sw. mute crow 7 in the final for a first time ever done by him. Congrats Gavin and Joe!
I want to give one last shoutout to a few others that were key at Brostock and those are Don Wallace, Joe Highfil, Colin OMalley, Adam Summerfield, Billy Witcher, Rich Jonas, Matt Long, Joey Lossen, Oli Derome, Garrett Cortese, Josh Bernard, Shane Bonifay, Shawn Watson, Brian Grubb, AK, Levi, Bill McCaffray, Rob Corum, all the athletes, both ours and the other brands, and everyone else that was involved in Brostock! I am sure I missed a few names and if so my apologies, but it was a fun one, a busy one and an eventful and impactful one!
