What up LF’ers!
Believe it or not, just when everyone thought the season was over, it is not! There was plenty happening this past weekend with the team of athletes with LF. So let's dive in,
Chendu China, the host city of the WWA China Open. This was both a boat and park event and is at one of the world's newest cable, Panda Wake Park. This was also the site of the 2025 World Games.
Our guy Gavin Stuckey was on it as he scored himself a double gold! He won both park and boat! Insane, I cannot even think of the last time that has happen at an event, or ever……… Yea Gav!
On the women’s side of things, our girl Zahra Kell won Pro Women boat and got a silver in park. I believe this was Zahra’s first park event of the year, such a banger way to hit the park scene Zahra, congrats!
Over in the boy's division, you know how this one turned out. Our future series boys themselves Cruze and Blaze dominated the podium with Cruze scoring gold in park and Blaze right next to him with a silver. And Cruze also won U13 boys in boat too! Congrats to you both boys!
The event also featured surf, so you know our girl Bailey Dunn was there doing her thing. Bailey of course won Pro Women’s skim and got 3rd in Pro Women’s surf! Epic Bailey, congrats!
Lastly on the weekend, we had Rivers Hedrick over at KCW watersports for their Relentless Jam, where she got to ride on the Unit Relentless redux rail from Brostock. Rivers also hosted a lady's clinic that went off without a hitch! From what I gathered and from speaking with her there was a ton of girls that showed up. Always love seeing the hard work from Rivers!
There was also an event at Lake Como called Wake N Beats that our LF La Familia boys were at. Hard to find much info about the event, but I did see Sam nailed a double mob off the dub, so I am guessing he had to make a podium with that. If not, please invite me to come judge it next year……
Til the next episode,
