Extended season

I cannot believe that it is November and I am still able to bring you all loads of athlete news on all fronts, but also that it still includes contests!  Typically after early October we start to enter the “dormant” portion of our contest/events season.  Athlete’s continue to deliver with their social media and video works, but with the changing of the leaves brings the change of the pace of events.  However this year I can proudly say that it has extended deep into fall.

Over the weekend Elevated Wake Park, the site of our 2027 LF park shoot, hosted a Halloween contest that went beyond the costumes.  But being that it was Halloween, you know the costume party after awards was going to be all time.  What was so rad about this event was that it featured the heaviest of hitters when it comes to names on both the male and female sides of riding.  Literally the men’s podium featured podium athletes from LAO, the biggest full size park event of the season.  And the ladies were right on par with the men when it came to the names that showed up to ride.  But in the end, the current world champ Gavin Stuckey took home the gold for the pro men’s and the Current National Champ Rivers Hedrick won pro women’s.  Congrats to you both!  And of course a thank you shoutout also to Elevated for not only the contest, but for being such a great dealer and partner to work with!

Matty Muncey dropped another insane edit titled “Late Fees”.  This edit focuses on years of riding out at Lunar cable park in Spain.  There are hacks, lines, crashes, big airs, and classic “Wet ’N Wild” style!  This edit had me super hyped to get out on the water and I know you will feel the same.  Personal favs are the truck driver roll to blind, jet ski indy tantrum to blind and the fake out backside air on the transition.  Give it a view, it just dropped today!

Big news also off the water for one of our LF athletes, Bailey Dunn is engaged!  Bailey and her fiancé Nate have a great place together on John’s Lake in Claremont, FL and were nice enough to let us shoot there a few times during our 2027 boat shoot.  We are all so stoked for you Bailey and wishing you guys the best on your journey in life together for the rest of your lives!

Lastly, tomorrow drops a new episode of “The Floor” on Fox, still awaiting Guenther’s time to compete again.  The really have been building the anticipation with him.  Hopefully he is back on this weeks show.  Make sure to tune in.

Til the next episode,
