Nothing comes close to LFG

When it comes to wake, LFG is light years ahead of the rest.  They don’t just own wake, they are wake.

The PWT finale was this past weekend and it featured a unique format that was very pleasant on the eye.  It was a combination of best line, best trick and best doubleup, so the most well rounded rider on that day was the one that would take the W.  So the three that have been at the top of the podiums all season long, Zahra, Meagan and Euge continued to do so.  Meagan finished the PWT right where she left off with the last time women were on the PWT with a win for stop 3 and a win in the overall series!  Her win consisted of a 3rd in best trick, 1st in doubleup and a 1st in best line.  Congrats Meagan!

Zahra had herself a day too as she locked up herself a silver in stop 3.  Zahra finished 1st with a backside 5 in best trick, 4th in doubleup and 2nd in best trick.  Congrats Zahra!

And Euge might have had her best season of her career this year both on the PWT and across the board in all the other events.  The new world Champ at this stop earned a bronze!  She got it by getting 5th in best trick, 2nd in doubleup and 4th in best line.  By getting 3rd place in this stop, she was able to get 2nd overall in the PWT series.  Congrats Euge!

Over on the other side of the world was the IWWF cable world championships.  Our guy Gavin was there in full form as he put down what I felt was the winning run.  Everything about Gavin’s run was deserving of being the world champion, which had by far the best rails of the event, the biggest and best kicker tricks and a very versatile and technical amount of air tricks.  In the end, Gavin got himself a silver medal at worlds, with one of the most insane traditional runs ever.  Congrats Gavin!

I would also like to shoutout Jan Luca Schulz for the silver also in the U18 division.  I got to see his run, probably the next best run to Gavin’s.  Congrats Jan!

Lastly, the last stop of the Broken Record Tour stop was this past weekend along with the Ride with the Pros at Southtown Wake Park in Rock Hill SC.  I know you all saw the coverage from it on insta, so you know that the riding was so insane! Seriously everything I saw go down was unreal, literally the some of the tricks were ones we saw at LAO from the jr. men.  Shoutout to Bosun and Jeffy for the hammers on the kickers!  The event definitely had all the entertainment on the water.  And on top of that we had the Current Champ Rivers Hedrick on site stoking out the people on the water and off.  Rivers said it was such a fun weekend and got plenty of people with LF under their feet.  And of course the cherry on top was her winning the Pro Women’s division.  Yea Rivs!  LFG following the tradition of owning it!

Til the next episode,
