Pooltastic

We back!  After resetting for the winter holidays and the new year, I am back with loads of updates.  But being there is so much to be run down, I don’t want any of it to not get the attention it deserves.  So lets just dive into what happen this past weekend and as the next few weeks come and go, I'll recap on some previous items.

2026 Dusseldorf Boot Boat Show - Pooltastic.  We all already know the German’s always do things right and of course they continued to hold that standard, even in the middle of winter when there is normally no wakeboarding happening in Germany.  Of course they find a way and an amazing way to give a solid display of park wakeboarding to crowds that don’t normally see wakeboarding.  And that is what makes this particular event so special.  Most of the time we rely on people having to travel or “go to” wakeboarding, but Pooltastic brings wakeboarding to the people.  A massive indoor pool setup with 2 features and a system 2 pulling the athletes inside the biggest boat show in the world, all while it’s likely below freezing outside.

All of our brand new park pro models at the top of the 2026 LF lineup all found their way to the podiums.  And to no surprise the Current champion (sorry but not sorry as I will relentlessly use this word on purpose all season long) Rivers Hedrick won the Pro Women’s division with a crowmobe and and a rail hit that had pretty much no run up.  And in 3rd we saw LF German team athlete Nike Hauser.  Congrats Rivers and Nike!

On the men’s side of things, we saw an all LF podium!  And at the top was our Grail himself, Gavin Stuckey.  I still don’t know how it’s possible, but Gavin somehow managed a sw. mute mobe 5 off the unit bump right into a sw. fs 3 to sw. back lip on the incline. If you were to watch the contest, it is insane that he was able to do what he did.  What is really rad though was seeing LF Germany team athlete Jan Luca Schulz next to him in 2nd also on a grail and Tobias Faerbers in 3rd on the new Illusion.  When I spoke to Gavin he was so honored to see athletes riding something he helped create and was over the moon to share a podium with someone who really loved his design.

I would like to give a small plug here to Nike, Jan Luca and Tobias.  I have been following them through their come ups in wake and I can promise these are names you will not only see a ton more this year, but years to come!  Keep up the great work!

Well done LF global, well done LF Germany, and thank you to the crew that put on Pooltastic for continuously giving the people a great show and exposing wakeboarding to those that don’t get to normal see it.

Til the next episode,
