World Champs! Our LF athletes are champions in all aspects of wake, especially off the water. I know that sounds a bit cliché, but they really are the best there is industry wide. Our team makes us all so proud on so many different fronts, but this go around it’s how we RELETLESSLY DOMINATED WWA World Championships in both park and boat. That’s right team LF went off last week at both the WWA Wake Park World Championships and WWA Boat World Championships!
First off with a double world title, both features only and traditional/park, Gavin Stuckey, the Grail himself winning it all! By the looks of the scores, it was blatantly all Gavin. Might have had to do with the board he rode……. And next to Gavin in 3rd in both features only and traditional/park was Lachlan Fort. Lachlan is an Aussie rider that has really progressed his game and its showing too, really stoked to see him and Gavin double podium!
The ladies was a total domination itself too. The new Current world champion in traditional/park is Rivers Hedrick! And next to her in 3rd was Claudia Pagnini. And these two delivered in features only too as Claudia enjoyed her Holiday to south Florida with a world title earning gold! And Rivers was right next to her in 2ndtoo. Congrats ladies, totally owning women’s park at worlds!
The future is crazy bright with our athletes and it really showed in the 13 and under elite boy’s division. Adding to the list of world champions is Cruze with a 1st in features only. The Apex FS was on display on the podium because another future series rider Bosun Lindsey from Terminus was right next to Cruze in 2nd place. Cruze also got himself a 3rd in traditional/park too! Both these boys are such rad kids and I can promise you this, you will see their faces not only at the top of the podiums, but future faces of wake!
Onto the boat side of things. I am always on repeat for this, but we support females in wake more than any brand in the industry period. I think we make a great partnership/combination when we work together. We have the best ladies in wake and with their help, we are able to have them ride the best equipment period. And it showed this past weekend. Zahra Kell put down a run for the ages and earned herself the title of world champ! Her run was total bonkers. But she was forced into riding that hard. I would say this was the best women’s final of all time with the riding that went down. And next to Zahra in 3rd was Euge de Armes. I am so damn proud of these ladies. Not only because they rode to the highest of levels, but that they are pushing women’s riding so hard. Congrats on your podiums ladies and proud to see you guys taking women’s riding to the next level.
Pro men was another mental final. Guenther Oka holds himself to the highest of standards and he continues a solid streak of podiums this year in boat. He continued that with a bronze medal! Congrats on the podium and an epic boat contest season G!
Lastly, we got the boys again, but on the boat owning the podium! The FS was on display in full form. Cruze showing how well rounded he is in wake by landing himself a silver medal. And what’s even more rad was that he got to share a podium at worlds with his brother Blaze on the other side in 3rd.
Proud proud proud. Great work team, between the performances you all pull off and the new product that was under you guys feet, I couldn’t be any more fired up on our team than ever right now! Congratulations again!
Til the next episode,
