What was one of the best moments on your wakeboard?

Winning the World Championship after coming back from a major injury was one of the most meaningful moments of my career. It wasn’t just about the title, it was about proving to myself that perseverance truly pays off. After my first shoulder surgery, I promised myself I wouldn’t stop until that championship was mine again. Ten years later, after countless highs and lows, I finally achieved it. It reminded me just how much I love this sport and why I keep pushing, no matter the challenges.

What lessons has wakeboarding taught you?

Wakeboarding has taught me resilience and the importance of patience. Progress isn’t always linear, some tricks take weeks or months to perfect (because apparently not all tricks happen on the first try). It has also taught me to trust my instincts and enjoy the process, not just the results. And, most importantly, it’s shown me the value of community. The friendships I’ve built through wakeboarding mean the world to me.

What does it mean to ride for LF?

Riding for Liquid Force feels like being part of a family that shares the same passion for pushing boundaries. It's not just about the gear (though, let’s be real, they nail it every time); it’s about the support, the shared stoke, and the drive to innovate and grow the sport. Representing LF means being part of a legacy that inspires others to fall in love with wakeboarding.

Who or what inspires you?

Honestly, anyone who sends it and still smiles after wiping out inspires me. I’m especially motivated by women in wakeboarding who are pushing boundaries and showing what’s possible, as well as other pros who constantly push themselves to the next level. And sometimes, my inspiration comes from simpler moments — like watching a kid get up on a wakeboard for the first time, completely stoked.

What do you think you are doing too much of or too little of because of wakeboarding?

Because of wakeboarding, I probably spend too much time obsessing over how to push my limits, whether it’s landing that next trick or nailing the perfect run. Sometimes I forget to just enjoy the ride and soak in the moment. Pushing myself has also meant dealing with my fair share of injuries (and a few too many physio appointments), I think I’m doing too much of that, but we all know that’s part of the game. I’m also always on the go, which means quality time with friends and family can get a little squeezed.
