Fall is here and the clocks have officially fall’ed back here in America. So I am going to fall back on a few stand out moments from our athletes over the past few weeks.
First off was this past weekend's Niti Island Treasure Hunt event on a private island near Lombok in Indonesia. Not only was this an epic two tower event with an insane prize purse, but it also had all time holiday vibes to it too! Seriously this event delivered some NBDs and nothing short of insane riding. And speaking of Holiday vibes, our girl Claudia Pagnini took home the big prize with first place in women’s! Yea Cla, such an epic way to close out the season. And also how could you have an event in southeast Asia without a solid Daniel Grant showing? Dan made himself up on the main stage for 4th place! Following him in the final was Joe Battleday in 5th, and Luke Carrick in 6th. Congrats guys!
Also this past weekend was the Dubai Creek Wakesurf Championships. And you know our Girl Bailey Dunn hasn’t missed a podium all year and she kept the streak alive going into the last event of the year. Bailey secured a silver in both Surf style and Skim! Can we please get a Wakesurfer of the year award? It would be all Bailey if so! Congrats girl!
In case you have been living under a rock and haven’t seen the German ourhouse film Brink, I am here to hook you up with the link because our boys Felix, Nico and Konni got so clipped up. Although it’s in German, the riding is something of another world! The winch spots are super unique and of course our boys delivered. Personal highlights include the line from Nico, the urban hits from Konni and then Felix’s closer is bow down worthy! Peep it here:
Lastly, 2 weeks ago in Spain was the IWWF European Championships and beyond fired up for Stefano with the gold! Stefano has just been upping his game every season and he is ending 2025 with a bang! And he wasn’t the only LF’er on the podium at Europeans, Alice Virag also locked in a first place too! And the cherry on top was her sister Chiara right next to her with a bronze! Congrats on the Italian take over!
