Happy Fall Y’all!

Man this month went fast, almost as if fall just fell away so quick and here we are with pretty much full on winter.  And all though it might be winter, our LF athletes have been staying on that grind non stop.  

To me, this is not only the winch part of the year, but the video part of the year.  Matty Muncey dropped his new winch part “What did you think would happen” and literally the entire video is full of closer hits!  Matty went so heavy on everything to do with this part, from the winch spots/selection, to the tricks, to how it was filmed and edited, even the song was a banger.  Anyhow, I know you all have already seen it, but incase you have not, here is the best 5 minutes of wake you will see all year long…..

However there is another brief bit of wakeboarding that will keep your stoke flame burning bright that was released today to the public.  The new La Familia full length movie teaser dropped and damn they got some serious heat for you guys.   The crew is always known wherever they go, but the LF athletes on the team consist of Luca Kidd, Sam Brown and few former LF athletes on our kits.  The teaser previews what the crew has been working on for years.  They definitely tease us with some hits, NBDs, wild global locations for boat, winch and park.  This will be THE full length video of the 2020’s I promise you!  Check it here:

And where did they premier the teaser over the weekend?  The 39th Active Watersport’s “Evening with the Stars” event at one of their shops right outside Portland Oregon.  39 years straight, that is so wild.  Honestly no other way to put it than that is just bad ass!  Congrats to AWS BTW!  Now this event is the best in house boat show there is and the crew over at Active always makes it so much fun.  This year the theme was red carpet, so you know our girl Meagan Ethell Oka showed up best dressed in gold and was there to get some ladies on some ME’s.  And our guy Luca Kidd was there to join her as he got the chance to get his brand new pro model the “Origin” into people’s hands for the first time.  The event was crazy packed and Meagan and Luca shinned like the stars they are.
