“With the Summer coming to an end in the Southern Hemisphere it was time for Australia’s best riders to come together in Murray Bridge, SA for the Malibu Australian Wakeboard Nationals. Over five days the most talented riders from across the country battled for the top spot across divisions from U10s to Pro, with a massive prize pool of $13k shared across the pro divisions. This year was the Liquid Force takeover with the Ride With The Pros World Tour making its first stop of the year. The La Familia crew was in town and LF pros Sam Brown, Luca Kidd, Ulf Ditsch and Kai Ditsch all came down to SA with a mission to take out the competition and stoke out as many groms as possible. Over the first three days of competition and split across two boats, the RWTP x La Familia World Tour took out over 50 riders for a personalised coaching session. The stoke was high, a huge bag of new tricks were landed and there was a boatload of smiling faces after every session. To top it all off, the crowd was treated to some of the highest levels of riding with Sam Brown taking out the Pro division and Luca Kidd also getting on the podium.
