I'd say every single moment when I ride is special. One that I remember very good, is when I finally went back in the water after my injury. It was the best feeling I've ever had.
What lessons has wakeboarding taught you?Wakeboarding taught met that we're not invincible or unbreakable. Before my injury, I had the best year of my life. I did great in competitions and I was training like crazy everyday, thinking nothing could have stopped me. When I broke my leg I couldn't realize it happened to me! Of course was a hard time, but it made me grow more as a person and an athlete! And, I can't be more stoked to be back on the water.
What does it mean to ride for LF?I've ridden LF my entire life, since I was a kid and I definitely can't see myself riding a different brand. Through the years, we created a big family...where I feel at home. Even though we don't see each other as much as we'd like sometimes. Plush, I can't be more thankful and proud to ride for the best board brand out there!
Who or what inspires you?Since I was a kid, my biggest inspiration was my dad! As a person and as an athlete. What he can do in the water is really crazy, but the camps he does to help other people...this is even more inspiring for me!
What do you think you are doing too much of or too little of because of wakeboarding? We have the chance to travel the whole world, for example, this year in one month...I've been on three continents, haha! This is amazing and I really love travelling. The not so fun part is that everything can be a little stressful at times. I don't see my family or friends back home as much. Anyway, after all these years, I create my own community of friends around the world. So, wherever I go...I have friends to hang out with!
