I would probably say sticking a BS 1080 on my last try at parks double or nothing this year even though It only got me 2nd, I was stoked to stick that trick in a contest clean as I had been battling that trick at that contest for the last 4 years and to finally lay it down was a very satisfying feeling, also I do believe that was the first back 10 ever landed in contest so a pretty cool moment for sure!
What lessons has wakeboarding taught you?I think I have learnt a lot from wakeboarding and being part of the industry, one main one was to not worry about others and what they are doing or comparing myself to others, every human is on their own path and has their on battles within life, no 2 people are the same or came from the same upbringing so why try compare when we all have our own things to do and our own lives to live. Also, to have patience...a lot of patience.
What does it mean to ride for LF?Riding for LF is pretty crazy when I think about it. When I first got into the sport and learned about the industry I had always wanted to be on Liquid Force. They had the dopest team and sickest boards with unreal graphics, and it’s an honor to be able to ride for them. I remember the day I got picked up by them, I didn’t believe that Liquid Force wanted me on the team and that gave me a boost ..Almost like, Luca they wanted you on the team for a reason, they see something in you, let’s show them you’re not here to play around.
Who or what inspires you? This has changed a lot over my life for sure, right now I would say my parents, they really are amazing, everything they have gone through in life, the opportunity’s they have given me and my siblings is unreal. I look up to them so much especially as I have gotten older and gained maturity and knowledge. I hope I can be just like them when I'm older!
What do you think you are doing too much of or too little of because of wakeboarding?Being from Europe and spending so much time in the US every year I would say one thing I do too little is seeing my family back in Europe, I try see them as much as I can in the off season, but its a lot of time lost, thank heavens for FaceTime haha. One thing I would say I do too much is probably time filling up gas cans and sitting on airplanes.
