Spring is here right, or so it feels that way just because the name March just sounds like spring.  Spring also brings along the start of the 2026 season in the northern hemisphere, but also at the same weird time, the end of the summer season in Australia/southern hemisphere.  

So as the summer months start to dwindle down, they always end it with a bang with Australia Nationals.  This event is one that we partner with that is located at a really iconic location in wake in Bundalong, Victoria.  From my understanding (and I could very easily be wrong on this) but this event is put on by Chief Judge and former LF athlete, Amber Wing.  We also had Harley Clifford on site judging and helping out with demos and clinics during the event.    What is also rad about this event is it looked like it had close to or even over 100 riders.  So the scene is going strong in Aus!

I was beyond fired up though to see that Luca Kidd took home the gold!  And this was no walk in the park because next to Luca in 3rd place was Sam Brown, so it was a super heavy final that had a load of talent riding in the event.  So rad to see both these boys on the podium!  Congrats boys!

And of course you know the future of wake owned the podium in the boys division.  Cruze with the gold and Blaze right there next to him in 2nd!  Yea boys, now that’s how you show out at Nats!  

All the boys worked so hard as they were with all the riders doing clinics with them, getting them on all the 2026 LF gear and hyping them all up.  Couple of LF Icons doing their thang! 

Next up, Moomba Masters in downtown Melbourne.  This is the start of the Nautique Wake Series and it has a generous prize purse, so be ready to see all our boys lay it down.
